Riley Reyes

Riley’s Story

“Thanks to the financial support of donors, I achieved a level of growth I would not have been able to reach outside of Doane, affording me life lessons in and beyond the classroom. Donor support has taught me leadership, how to be compassionate with others, allowed me to hone my artistic abilities into my career path, and to be the person today that I strive to be tomorrow. My growth has been constant, from playing baseball to building leadership that is shown by example, not just spoken, to group projects with classmates to understanding and learning how to give an extra hand when needed. I came to Doane not knowing what I wanted to pursue in my education. I left Doane passionate about graphic/visual arts and a desire to continue to learn in my career path. I’m so grateful to our donors for their immense support; it allowed me to achieve what so many only dream of.”

-Riley V. Reyes ’24 / Wichita, KS / Graphic Design graduate
