Andrea Johnson

Dr. Andrea’s Story

“I came to Doane as a student because the visit was personalized specifically for me. I realized Doane was an institution with much to offer academically and through extracurriculars. I also was looking for smaller class sizes and an atmosphere where you could get to know the campus community.

As a student, I was involved in the Honors Program, Hansen Leadership Program, tennis, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Relay for Life, Cardinal Key, and as an ambassador for admissions.

As a faculty member, I appreciate working with students! Doane students are curious, kind, and good-spirited. As the Honors Program Director, I would love for donations to help Honors students study abroad without cost.

Doane is unique because it offers a personalized and elevated experience to students. You will quickly become a part of the Doane community, where everyone around you wants you to succeed.

With this campaign, I am most excited to see Doane continue to expand opportunities to students. Whether it is study abroad or other extracurricular opportunities, the sky is the limit!”
