“I liked the smaller campus setting Doane offered as a student. Having gone to a Class A school here in Nebraska, having the student body size be less than half of my high school was an excellent opportunity to get to know members of my classes.
As a student, I was involved in my fraternity and college work-study. Since Doane, I’ve been involved in my fraternity’s Alumni Association, attended Alumni activities, and served on the Alumni Council for six years, the last two as Alumni Council President.
Doane University is unique because it is always striving to be better today than it was yesterday. The leadership always keeps the student body at the forefront of their decisions.
I give to Doane for my fraternity’s endowment fund. This allows monies to be directed to students to assist them with tuition and other extra costs like books, room, and board.
Dr. Roger Hughes and his team have “righted the ship,” and Doane is headed in a great direction. More students are attending the University than in quite some time. I look forward to seeing where Doane is headed in the next few years throughout this campaign.”
